Planned maintenance
Periodic inspections, F-gas leak checks and condition reports for chillers, AHUs, rooftops and condensing units, so faults are found before they stop production.
F-gas company certificate. A report with measurements after every visit. Mobile service in Poland and the EU.
Most breakdowns we repair could have been seen weeks earlier on a pressure gauge, a current meter or a thermometer. Planned maintenance is about reading these signals in time. SKiC prepares an inspection schedule for all refrigeration and HVAC equipment in your plant, keeps track of the dates and the legal obligations, and gives you one report per visit with measurements and recommendations.
What an inspection includes
| Area | Checks |
|---|---|
| Refrigerant circuit | Pressures, temperatures, superheat, subcooling, leak check |
| Compressors | Currents and phase balance, oil, insulation, start counts |
| Heat exchangers | Condenser and evaporator condition, cleaning if needed |
| Water and glycol side | Flow, temperature difference, strainers, glycol concentration |
| Electrics and safety devices | Contactors, terminals, pressure switches, settings |
| Controls | Alarm history, sensors, setpoints |

F-gas leak checks
Under Regulation (EU) 2024/573 equipment with a charge of 5 tonnes CO2 equivalent or more must be checked for leaks at fixed intervals. The interval depends on the charge and on whether an automatic leak detection system is installed.
| Charge in t CO2 eq. | Without leak detection | With leak detection |
|---|---|---|
| 5 to below 50 | 12 months | 24 months |
| 50 to below 500 | 6 months | 12 months |
| 500 or more | 3 months | 6 months |
We calculate the CO2 equivalent for every unit, plan the checks and keep the records up to date.
How often to inspect
Manufacturers usually recommend one or two inspections a year. Chillers running all year in continuous production benefit from an inspection every six months: one before the summer, one before the winter. Units with a light load can be inspected once a year, combined with the leak check.
What you get
- A schedule for all units with dates and scope.
- A report after every visit with measured values and photos.
- A list of recommendations with priorities: urgent, plan within months, observe.
- A history of measurements that shows slow changes before they become failures.
- One contact for chillers, rooftop units, AHUs and condensing units.

Service agreement
With a service agreement the dates are fixed in advance, requests are handled with priority and the same technicians come to your plant, so they already know your equipment. The documentation required for leak checks is kept complete.
| Work outside Poland | Net price |

| Technician hour | 115 EUR |
| Travel per km | 0.75 EUR |
Typical maintenance schedule for an industrial chiller
| Task | Interval | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Readout of controller, alarm history, operating hours | Every visit | Early signs of faults before they stop production |
| Pressures, superheat, subcooling, compressor currents | Every visit | Refrigerant charge and compressor condition |
| Leak check according to Regulation (EU) 2024/573 | 3, 6, 12 or 24 months, depending on charge in t CO₂ equivalent | Legal obligation of the operator |
| Condenser or dry cooler cleaning | At least once a year, before summer | Lower condensing pressure, fewer high pressure trips |
| Strainer cleaning, flow and pressure drop over evaporator | Every visit | Protects the evaporator, prevents flow alarms |
| Glycol concentration and condition | Once a year, before winter | Frost and corrosion protection |
| Electrical connections, contactors, safety chain test | Once a year | Prevents burnt contacts and unprotected operation |
