SKiC technician servicing a chiller controller

Disclaimer

Home/Disclaimer

The content of skic-service.eu is technical information about our services. It is not an offer, not a design and not a substitute for an inspection of your equipment.

F-gas company certificate. A report with measurements after every visit. Mobile service in Poland and the EU.

This page explains how to read the information published on this website and where our liability for it ends. It applies to all pages and articles on skic-service.eu operated by SKiC Sp. z o.o., Wałsnów 22b, 26-505 Wałsnów, Poland.

Information purpose

The descriptions of services, project examples, repair cases and answers to questions are published to show how we work and what maintenance teams can expect. They are general in nature. A refrigeration or HVAC system is always specific: the same alarm on two identical units can have different causes depending on the installation, the load, the water quality and the history of the equipment. No page of this website replaces diagnostics with measurements on your unit by a qualified technician.

Work on refrigerant circuits, pressure equipment and electrical installations must be carried out only by persons holding the required qualifications, including F-gas certificates under Regulation (EU) 2024/573 and national electrical qualifications. Nothing on this website is an instruction to carry out such work without them.

Technical data

Values quoted on this website, such as typical temperatures, pressures, GWP values, leak check intervals and examples of calculations, are given in good faith and reflect the regulations and practice known to us at the time of publication. Regulations change and manufacturers update their documentation. In particular:

  • GWP values and leak check intervals follow Regulation (EU) 2024/573 as applied at the time of writing; always check the current text and any national rules.
  • Typical operating values are guide values, not limits for a particular unit. The manufacturer’s documentation and the nameplate data of your equipment take precedence.
  • Project and repair descriptions are anonymised and simplified. They do not guarantee the same result on another unit.

We correct errors when we find them or when someone points them out to us. If you notice an inaccuracy, write to info@skic.com.pl.

Brand names

Names of manufacturers and products such as Trane, Carrier, Daikin, York, Lennox, technotrans or Baldwin are used only to describe the equipment we work on. They are the property of their owners. SKiC is an independent service company and is not an authorised service partner of these manufacturers, unless expressly stated otherwise in a written agreement. We do not carry out warranty work on behalf of manufacturers.
