Our services
SKiC provides industrial refrigeration service and HVAC service for equipment of all major brands: chillers, condensing units, air handling units, rooftops, process and oil coolers, and the pipework and controls that connect them. Every job starts with measurements and ends with a written report.
F-gas company certificate. A report with measurements after every visit. Mobile service in Poland and the EU.
How we approach every job
A maintenance team rarely needs another supplier who swaps parts until the alarm disappears. It needs to know why the unit tripped, whether it will trip again and what the repair costs compared with the value of the equipment. That is why our industrial refrigeration service follows the same sequence on every site, whether the unit is a 20 kW condensing unit behind a warehouse or a large screw chiller on a production roof.
- Conversation with the operator and readout of the alarm history from the controller.
- Measurements under load: suction and discharge pressures, superheat and subcooling, water temperatures and flow, motor currents, insulation resistance.
- Diagnosis that names the cause, not only the failed component.
- Repair on site or in our workshop in Wałsnów, after the scope and the cost have been agreed in writing.
- Report with measurements, photos and recommendations, sent after every visit.
We are an independent company and not an authorised service of any manufacturer. We work on equipment after the warranty has ended, which covers most of the installed base in industry: Trane, Carrier, Daikin, York, Aermec, Clivet, Climaveneta, Lennox, CIAT, Riedel, MTA, Clint, Hiross, Blue Box, Stulz, technotrans and Baldwin.

Industrial refrigeration
The core of our work: units that keep processes and products cold, where a breakdown means stopped production or lost stock.
- Chiller service and repair: air-cooled and water-cooled chillers with scroll, screw and reciprocating compressors, from seasonal inspections to compressor replacement.
- Condensing unit service: cold rooms, freezers and production cooling in plants, warehouses and shops, handled by mobile teams.
- Industrial coolers: compact units for process water, glycol and oil installed next to machines and lines.
- Process cooling: complete chilled water and glycol circuits for production, with buffer tanks, pump sets and redundancy.
- Dry cooler service: coil cleaning and repair, EC fans, free cooling settings and frost protection.
- Refrigeration system audit: condition, efficiency and F-gas compliance assessed in one report with priorities.
HVAC and ventilation
Air side equipment in production halls, logistics centres, retail parks and technical rooms. Here comfort and process conditions depend on coils, fans and controls working together.
- AHU and rooftop service: seasonal inspections of rooftop units and air handling units on large roofs.
- Air handling unit service: in-depth work on coils, fans, inverters, heat recovery and controls.
- Precision air conditioning repair: server rooms, laboratories and production rooms with tight temperature and humidity limits.
- Industrial heat pump service: refrigerant circuit, defrost and water side of air-to-water and water-to-water heat pumps.
- Water heating coil repair: frost-burst and leaking coils from air handling units and unit heaters.
Special equipment
Equipment that general HVAC contractors often decline because it sits inside a machine or a process and needs both refrigeration and mechanical knowledge.
- Oil cooler repair: oil coolers for machine tools, presses and hydraulic units.
- Industrial air dryer service: refrigerated compressed air dryers, pressure dew point, drains and the refrigerant circuit.
- Refrigerated container service: container units such as Carrier 69NT40 used as stationary cold stores.
- Water and hydraulic pump repair: mechanical seals, bearings, motors and selection of replacement pumps.
Installations and controls
When a plant room needs more than a repair, we design, build and automate. Our teams work with steel, stainless steel and press-fitting systems and build control panels with Siemens PLCs.
- Refrigeration system design: load calculation, unit selection, pipework and free cooling, through to commissioning.
- Chilled water installations: pipework, buffer tanks, pump sets, valves and insulation.
- Controls and remote monitoring: PLC control, HMI panels, web visualisation and SMS and e-mail alarms.
- Planned maintenance: inspection schedules, F-gas leak checks and service records for whole plant rooms.

What to send with an enquiry
A few photos and data points let us prepare the right parts and instruments before the first visit, which often saves a second trip.
| Equipment | Information that speeds up the diagnosis |
|---|---|
| Chiller or condensing unit | Nameplate photo (model, serial number, refrigerant, charge), alarm codes, when the fault appears |
| AHU or rooftop | Unit type, design air flow, photos of the coils and the control panel, heating medium |
| Oil cooler or air dryer | Machine it serves, oil or air temperature at the alarm, nameplate photo |
| Pumps | Pump and motor nameplates, symptoms such as noise, leaks or tripping |
| Installation or design | Process heat load, required temperatures, drawings or photos of the plant room |
F-gas obligations and qualifications
SKiC holds the company F-gas certificate FGAZ-E27/0001/21. Our technicians hold personal F-gas certificates category I, SEP G1, G2 and G3 electrical and energy qualifications, UDT qualifications for pressure equipment and brazing certificates to EN 13585. Leak checks are carried out according to Regulation (EU) 2024/573, with intervals that depend on the charge expressed in tonnes of CO2 equivalent: every 12 months from 5 t, every 6 months from 50 t and every 3 months from 500 t, or twice as long when a leak detection system is installed.
Working outside Poland
Our mobile teams work across the EU. For work outside Poland the rates are: diagnostics on site from 800 EUR net, labour 115 EUR net per hour and travel 0.75 EUR net per km. Repairs are quoted after the diagnosis, and reports are written in English.
Questions from maintenance teams
Do you service units that are still under warranty?
No. We are not an authorised service of any manufacturer, so warranty work stays with the manufacturer’s network. We take over once the warranty has ended, and we can carry out an inspection just before it expires so that defects are reported in time.
Do you offer round-the-clock emergency standby?
We do not run a 24/7 standby service. Breakdowns are scheduled as soon as a team is available, and customers with planned maintenance are prioritised because we already know their equipment.
Can components be repaired in your workshop?
Yes. Compact units, oil coolers, air dryers, pumps and heating coils can be brought to our workshop in Wałsnów, where they are pressure tested, repaired and tested before return.
Can you supply a new chiller if repair is not worth it?
Yes, together with our partner company ChillerTech, which supplies new and refurbished chillers and rental units. We then install, commission and service the new unit.
What does the service report contain?
The measured values, the diagnosis, the work carried out, the parts used, refrigerant quantities added or recovered, photos and recommendations with priorities.
Tell us what is not working
Send the nameplate photo and a short description of the fault, and we will propose the first step with a cost estimate.
