SKiC Sp. z o.o. is an industrial refrigeration and HVAC service company with over 20 years in the trade, a service base and workshop in Wałsnów, Poland, and mobile technical teams working in Poland and other EU countries.

We service the equipment that keeps production lines, machines, server rooms and buildings at the right temperature: chillers, process coolers, condensing units, dry coolers, rooftops, air handling units, precision air conditioning and printing industry units. We also design and build chilled water installations and control systems. Our clients are mostly maintenance departments of industrial plants and facility managers of commercial buildings, people who need a contractor that measures, explains and documents.
Who we are
SKiC grew out of hands-on refrigeration work in industry. Over more than two decades our people have worked on units from compressors of a few kilowatts to large screw chillers, in plants where a stop of the cooling system means a stop of production. That experience shapes the way we work today: we treat every unit as part of a process, not as an isolated machine. A chiller that trips on low pressure may have nothing wrong with its refrigerant circuit: the cause can be a blocked strainer, a pump running at reduced flow or a wrong glycol concentration. Finding such causes requires people who are equally at home with the refrigerant circuit, the hydraulics and the electrics.
We are an independent company. We are not an authorised service partner of any manufacturer and we do not carry out warranty work on their behalf. We take over equipment after the warranty has ended, regardless of brand, and our recommendations are not tied to the sale of a particular product.
Our base in Wałsnów
Our service base and workshop are located at Wałsnów 22b, 26-505 Wałsnów, Poland. From there the mobile teams set out to sites in Poland and abroad, and there we carry out the repairs that are better done on a workbench than on a roof: smaller chillers and oil coolers, coils and heat exchangers, pumps, control panels and components. In the workshop we have the time and equipment for proper pressure tests with nitrogen, evacuation to deep vacuum and testing before the unit goes back to the client.
Our teams
We work in mobile technical teams. Each team is equipped for diagnostics and repairs on the refrigerant, water and electrical side: gauges and digital manifolds, temperature probes, clamp meters, leak detectors, recovery units, vacuum pumps, nitrogen, brazing equipment and the tools needed for pipework. A team arriving on site can measure, find the cause and, in many cases, repair the fault during the same visit.
Behind the field teams there are people who build control panels and prepare installations. This combination matters, because many faults lie at the interface between refrigeration, hydraulics and controls.

How we work
- Enquiry: you send us the nameplate photos, the alarm list and a description of the problem through the contact form or by e-mail.
- Offer: we propose a diagnostic visit or, where the scope is clear, a complete offer.
- Diagnostics with measurements: pressures, superheat and subcooling, water side temperatures and flow, currents, insulation, condition of coils and heat exchangers, controller history.
- Repair: on site or in our workshop, according to the agreed scope.
- Report: after every visit, with readings before and after, the work done and recommendations.
For units that matter, the best approach is a planned maintenance contract: regular visits, leak checks at the interval required for the refrigerant charge and a history of readings that shows a problem before it becomes a breakdown.
What we build
Besides service, we design and build installations: chilled water and glycol pipework in steel, stainless steel and press fittings, buffer tanks, pump sets, dry coolers with free cooling and the controls that tie them together. Our control panels are based on Siemens PLC with HMI panels, web visualisation and SMS or e-mail alarms, so the maintenance team can see the plant from a browser. Examples are on the projects page.
The group: SKiC, ChillerSerwis and ChillerTech
SKiC works within a group of companies with ChillerSerwis and ChillerTech. ChillerSerwis specialises in chiller service and diagnostics. ChillerTech supplies new and refurbished chillers and rental units. For our clients this means that service, replacement and temporary cooling can be arranged through one contact, with the technical side handled by people who know the equipment. What we do not do
We prefer to say clearly what is outside our scope, so you do not lose time:
- Split and VRF air conditioning systems.
- Domestic equipment: household refrigerators, freezers and residential air conditioners.
- Warranty service on behalf of manufacturers.
- Round-the-clock emergency standby.
Our focus is industrial and commercial refrigeration and HVAC, where measurements, documentation and a structured approach make the difference.
Working in Poland and the EU
Our teams travel to sites across Poland and to other EU countries. For work abroad we communicate by e-mail and prepare reports in English. The base rates for work outside Poland are: diagnostics on site from 800 EUR net; labour 115 EUR net per hour; travel 0.75 EUR net per km.

All major brands of chillers and HVAC equipment, including Trane, Carrier, Daikin, York, Aermec, Clivet, Climaveneta, Lennox, CIAT, Riedel, MTA, Clint, Hiross, Blue Box, Stulz, technotrans and Baldwin. Equipment of other manufacturers is not excluded; send us the nameplate and we will confirm.
Can you provide documents for supplier approval?
Yes, copies of certificates and company documents are available on request.
Do you work under service contracts?
Yes, planned maintenance contracts as well as single visits.
